Meet Our Professional Staff Members
Debbie Godwin is the administrator of The Terrace at Ivey Acres. She is also a lifelong resident of Santa Rosa County Florida. Debbie has been in the healthcare industry for decades and is committed to the communities we serve.
During her career, she has held a variety of positions from entry level to management. With this experience, she brings to The Terrace a wealth of knowledge and skills that enhance the facility.
Debbie handles the day to day operations of the facility and oversees each department. She works closely with the board of directors of Long-Term Care of Jay, LLC. She ensures that each resident is treated with dignity and respect.
She is committed to serving The Terrace, it’s residents and resident family members with a high level of quality care. Debbie believes deeply that The Terrace can and does make a difference in the lives of those we serve.
Jeanie Lambeth is the Assistant Administrator at The Terrace at Ivey Acres. Jeanie started at The Terrace in 2013, as a Personal Service Assistant (PSA) and soon became Med Tech certified a few months later. Through her hard work and determination, she became a secretary in 2015.
Jeanie loves each resident as if they are a close relative and she shows that through her work. In 2017 Jeanie received her Administrator Certificate and ServSafe. She works very closely with the Nursing Department, Board of Directors, and the Administrator.
Jeanie’s versatility allows her to complete any task needed to be done. Jeanie is part of a great team that strives to bring Joy and Value to our Residents.
Director Of Nursing
Sue King is the director of nursing for The Terrace at Ivey Acres and assists the administrator as needed. She received her degree in nursing from Pensacola Junior College. After graduation, she found joy in working with patients and has devoted her nursing career to caring for the elderly population.
In her position at The Terrace, she handles many tasks such as overseeing the distributions of medications, pharmacy communications, health issues, doctor appointments, verification of doctors orders and medical records.
Sue enjoys her job “because the elderly are amazing, it is a joy and an honor to care for them and
make a difference in the quality of their lives”.
Assistant Director Of Nursing
Amber Deese is the Assistant Director of Nursing at The Terrace of Ivey Acres. Amber received her degree in Nursing from Reid State Technical College. After graduation, she found joy in working with Geriatric patients and has devoted her nursing career to caring for the elderly population.
She continues to update her education in the field of nursing. In her position at The Terrace, she handles many tasks such as overseeing the distributions of medications, pharmacy communications, health issues, doctor appointments, verification of doctors orders and medical records.
Amber enjoys her job because the elderly are amazing it is a joy and an honor to care for them and make a difference in the quality of their lives.
April Kerns is the Dietary Manager at The Terrace at Ivey Acres. She has been employed at The Terrace since 2013, where she started out as a cook and moved to Lead Cook in 2015.
She has helped as a PSA (Personal Service Assistant) and Med Tech as well whenever the needs arise.
Through her love for the residents and her job she advanced in the business and took her Administrator Certification Exam in 2017. She is now a Certified Administrator and the Dietary Manager of The Terrace at Ivey Acres.
April works very closely with the Nursing Department, the Administrator and the Board of Directors. “We strive to add joy and value to our residents.”
Life Enrichment Coordinator
Kaitlyn Stephens is the life enrichment coordinator for The Terrace at Ivey Acres. Kaitlyn has worked in assisted living throughout her career.
Kaitlyn really enjoys her job at The Terrace, planning the activities, and interacting with the residents. She brings her experience in coordinating events for special occasions.
“The Terrace brings joy to all of the residents”. Kaitlyn has a special bond with each resident and thinks of each one as a member of her own family.
